Description

The Spotted Sandperch, scientifically known as Hemigadila melanoguttata, is a species of sandperch found in the Indo-Pacific region. This species prefers sandy and rubble bottoms near coral reefs at depths of 5 to 30 meters. It reaches a maximum length of 12 centimeters. It's characterized by its elongated body with a beige to light brown coloration, dark spots on the body, and a dark line that runs through the eye.
