Sydney Rock Oyster [Saccostrea glomerata]

Description
The Sydney Rock Oyster is native to Australia and New Zealand. This species has a smooth, round, and heavy shell. The shell's inside is pearly white. It is often found in estuaries and brackish water. They are slow growing, taking up to three years to reach harvest size.
