True Harp [Harpa major]

Description
The True Harp is a smaller species of sea snail, with a shell length of up to 15 cm. The shell has a strong, robust structure and is known for its striking pattern of numerous, closely spaced, dark-brown to purple-brown vertical bars on a yellow to orange background. The True Harp is found in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region. It is a nocturnal predator, feeding on sand-dwelling bivalves and gastropods.
