Description
The Black-spotted Frog Shell is a marine gastropod mollusk recognized by its oval, swollen shell with a short spire. The shell is covered with nodulous ribs and large black spots. This species is found in the Red Sea and in the Indian Ocean along East Africa, the Mascarene Basin, and Madagascar. It inhabits shallow waters and coral reefs and is known to be a scavenger, feeding on dead or dying invertebrates.
