Sculptured Mitre [Quasimitra sculpta]
Description
A species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Mitridae, the miters or miter snails. It is distinguished by its elongated shell shape, intricate patterns, and the brown color. It is found in the Red Sea and in the Indian Ocean along Chagos, Mauritius, and the Mascarene Basin.
