Leopard Olive [Oliva leopardus]

Description
Oliva leopardus, also known as the Leopard Olive, is a species of sea snail native to the waters around Australia and New Caledonia. It inhabits sandy bottoms in close proximity to coral reefs. The shell of this species is elongated and glossy, with a pattern of dark spots resembling that of a leopard's coat. Like other species in its genus, the Leopard Olive is nocturnal and burrows in the sand during the day.
