Description
Common Olive is a species of sea snail. It has a smooth, elongated shell that is typically brown, but can range from yellow to olive green. It is found in the intertidal zones of the Indo-Pacific region, specifically from East Africa to Australia and the Philippines. It typically burrows in sandy substrate during the day and emerges at night to feed on bivalves.
