Korean Rapa Whelk [Rapana bezoar]

Description
The Korean Rapa Whelk is a species of large sea snail that lives in soft substrates in temperate seas, from the intertidal zone to depths of around 50 meters. The shell is thick and heavy, with a short spire and a large body whorl. The color is typically a reddish-brown with darker dashes forming irregular axial streaks. This species is a predatory carnivore, feeding on bivalves and other mollusks.
