Description
Stellaria graminea, known as Lesser Stitchwort, is a species of flowering plant in the family Caryophyllaceae. It is native to Eurasia but has been introduced to North America. It grows in a variety of habitats, including meadows, pastures, and along water bodies. It is a perennial herb with thin, wiry stems and narrow, lance-shaped leaves. The flowers are small and white with five petals. Despite its name, it is not a marine species.
