Description
The Common Button Snail, or Umbonium vestiarium, is a small marine gastropod mollusk that belongs to the family Trochidae. These snails are found in the Indian Ocean, specifically in the waters around Madagascar and Mauritius. They are easily recognizable by their button-like shape and the concentric ridges on their shell. They are typically a pale beige or brown color.
