Trochoidal Sundial [Architectonica trochlearis]

Description
The Trochoidal Sundial, Architectonica trochlearis, is a sea snail species with a shell that is low-spired and wide, similar to other sundials. Its shell, however, features a unique pattern of fine spiral lines and a distinct central umbilicus. It is found in the Western Pacific region, specifically in the waters around Japan and the Philippines.
