Description
Giant Sphaeronectes is a species of hydrozoans found in the North Atlantic Ocean. It has a transparent bell that can grow up to 3.5 cm in diameter. It is characterized by its eight radial canals that extend from the manubrium to the bell margin, where they fuse with a circular canal. It is often found near the surface of the water where it feeds on small planktonic organisms.
