Description
Lucernaria bathyphila, or the Hooded Jellyfish, is a deep-sea species found in the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. It is characterized by a deep, bell-shaped body with eight arms, each ending with a cluster of tentacles. The Hooded Jellyfish is known to live in cold, deep waters, typically below 1000 meters. It can be found attached to rocks and other hard substrates.
