Description
Also known as the Flexible Sea Rod, it is found in the western Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea. It is a branching coral that grows up to 2 meters long. It is usually reddish-brown or beige in color with polyps that are usually retracted during the day. It inhabits shallow reefs and is known for its flexibility.
