Leather Coral [Sarcophyton ehrenbergi]

Description
This species is a soft coral that forms large, mushroom-shaped colonies. It is predominantly found in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly around the Red Sea. It prefers shallow waters with a lot of light. The polyps of Sarcophyton ehrenbergi are usually retracted during the day and extend at night to feed.
