Description

Zearaja is a genus of skates within the Arhynchobatidae family, found primarily in the Southern Hemisphere, notably around New Zealand and Australia. These skates are characterized by their robust body, large size, and distinctively patterned dorsal surface. Zearaja species are benthic predators, feeding on a variety of marine organisms found on or near the ocean floor.
