Description
Parachaetodon is a monotypic genus, containing only the Saddleback Butterflyfish. It is distinguished by a unique saddle-like marking across its back and a relatively elongated body. This species is found in the Indo-West Pacific, particularly around coral reefs and lagoons, where it feeds on a variety of small invertebrates and coral polyps.
