Description

Psettina is a genus of small to medium-sized lefteye flounders found in the northern Pacific Ocean. These flounders are characterized by a slender body and a preference for cold, deep-water habitats. They are known to inhabit soft sediment areas where they bury themselves for camouflage. Psettina species feed primarily on small invertebrates, using their asymmetrical mouth to extract prey from the substrate.
