Description
Nebaliella is a genus within the family Nebaliidae, distinguished from other genera by its specific morphological features including the structure of its antennae and the shape of the telson. These small crustaceans share many of the common characteristics of the family, such as a bivalve-like carapace and segmented body, but are identified by subtle variations in body form and appendage structure. They inhabit marine environments, where they contribute to the benthic community.
