Description
The Macolor genus is represented by two species known collectively as Black and White Snappers. These nocturnal fish have a distinctive black body with a white stripe running laterally from head to tail. Inhabiting the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific, they are often found in schools around coral reefs and slopes, feeding on plankton and small fish.
