Liachirus [Liachirus]

Description

Liachirus comprises species of soles endemic to the Indo-Pacific. They possess elongated, narrow bodies and are adapted to a life on the sea floor, often burying themselves in sand or mud. These soles are nocturnal, feeding on small invertebrates and crustaceans.
