Description

Flabelliderma is a genus within the family Flabelligeridae known for species with slender, cylindrical bodies and a covering of fine, hair-like setae. These worms are tube-builders, creating protective cases on the seabed where they reside. They feed by extending their tentacle-like palps out of their tubes to capture detritus and small organisms.
