Babaia [Babaia]
Description
Babaia is a lesser-known genus of squat lobsters, with representatives that are small and often difficult to observe in their natural habitats. These squat lobsters tend to have a more rounded carapace compared to other genera and are found in deep-sea environments. They are scavengers, feeding on organic particles they find on the ocean floor.
