Yellow-spotted Dragonet [Callionymus maculatus]
Description
The Yellow-spotted Dragonet is found in the Western Pacific, from Japan to the South China Sea. It inhabits sandy and rocky bottoms, usually in shallow waters of up to 30 meters depth. It is characterized by its elongated body, long snout, and a yellowish color with dark spots. It is a nocturnal species that feeds on small invertebrates.
