Yellow Monocle Bream [Dischistodus perspicillatus]
Description
This species is noted for its bright yellow color and a black band running from its eye to its caudal fin. It is found throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific, from the Red Sea and East Africa to the Tuamotu Islands, north to southern Japan, south to Australia. It typically lives in small schools and feeds on algae and small invertebrates.
