Description
The Yellow Longnose Butterflyfish, also known as Forceps Butterflyfish, is a species of marine fish in the family Chaetodontidae. It's recognized by its elongated snout, yellow color, and black spot on its anal fin. It has a widespread distribution in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, from East Africa to the Hawaiian, Marquesan, and Ducie islands. This species is generally found in seaward and lagoon reefs, and is often seen in pairs. It is known to feed on a variety of small organisms.
