Yellow-antenna Calanoid Copepod [Tortanus dextrilobatus]

Description
This species is predominantly found in temperate waters off the coast of Japan. It is characterized by its yellow antennae and the presence of a distinct lobe on its right side. It is a small planktonic copepod, reaching a maximum size of about 2mm. It forms an important part of the marine food web, serving as prey for various species of fish and seabirds.
