Description

The white velvet snail is a marine gastropod mollusk with a thin, glossy, and fragile shell that is white to light yellow in color. The shell is about 5 to 6 millimeters in length. This species is found in the North Atlantic Ocean, specifically in the colder waters of Norway and Iceland, and as far south as Spain. They live at depths of 0 to 30 meters and prefer to live on eelgrass and algae.
