Description
Halistemma albipictum, commonly known as the White String Jellyfish, is a species of siphonophore native to the Pacific Ocean. It is characterized by its long, threadlike tentacles and small, white body. It dwells within the epipelagic to mesopelagic zones of the ocean, and like other siphonophores, is bioluminescent. Its diet primarily consists of small fish and zooplankton.
