Description
The White-plumed Anemone, also known as the Giant Plumose Anemone, is a large, white, feathery sea anemone native to the Pacific Ocean. It can grow up to 1 meter tall. They prefer cold water and are often found attached to rocks, shells, or other hard substrates in intertidal and subtidal zones. They feed on small particles in the water, which they catch with their tentacles.
