White Parchment Tube Worm [Lanice viridis]

Description
The White Parchment Tube Worm is a marine polychaete worm that inhabits sandy and muddy substrates in shallow waters, particularly in the North Pacific Ocean. As its name suggests, it constructs a tube out of sand and mucus, which is often covered in algae and gives it a green appearance. The worm itself is creamy white, with numerous bristled segments and two pairs of tentacles at the head end for feeding and respiration.
