Description

The White-eyed Moray (Gymnothorax thyrsoideus) is a medium-sized eel, distinguished by its notably white eyes. They are found in the warm waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, usually hiding in rocky crevices near coral reefs. They can grow up to 1.2 meters in length. They are nocturnal and carnivorous, feeding mainly on small fish and crustaceans.
