Venture Cryptospira [Cryptospira ventricosa]
Description
This species is known for its ventricose (swollen or bulbous) shell, which is why it's called 'ventricosa'. It is a small sea snail that lives in the deep waters of the Western Atlantic. The shell size varies between 10 mm to 25 mm.
