Description

Vaughanella's Sand Goby is another species from the Gobiidae family. Found in the tropical waters of the Western Indian Ocean, it is a benthic species that prefers sandy or muddy substrates in coastal or estuarine habitats. It is small in size, usually not exceeding 3 cm in length. The species is characterized by a translucent body with a pattern of brownish spots and vertical stripes.
