Tube worm [Terebella nebulosa]

Description
Terebella nebulosa, also known as the tube worm, is another species in the Terebella genus. They are characterized by their soft, segmented bodies and distinct head, which is equipped with tentacles and a pair of eyes. Tube worms are sessile creatures, meaning they permanently attach themselves to substrates. They build complex, mucus-lined tubes in which they live, extending their tentacles out of the tube to capture and feed on passing plankton.
