Description
The Tub Gurnard is a large, robust fish that can reach up to 75 cm in length. It is characterized by its large pectoral fins, which are bright blue on the underside. This species is found in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean, from Norway to Morocco, and in the Mediterranean and Black Seas. It usually lives on sandy or muddy seabeds, at depths between 10 and 100 meters. It feeds on crustaceans, mollusks, and small fish.
