Description
Anilocra pomacentri, also known as the tropical sea louse, is a species of parasitic isopod found in the warm waters of the Pacific and Indian Oceans. It targets tropical fish species, especially damselfish. This species has a dorsoventrally flattened body, large compound eyes, and two pairs of antennae. The females are typically larger than the males. They cause severe damage to their host fish, often leading to death.
