Description
The Tropical Scoop Claw, or Rectarcturus tropicus, is a marine isopod found in the tropical regions of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Unlike its Antarctic cousin, this species thrives in warm, shallow waters. It's distinguished by its bright coloring, which varies from blue to green depending on the individual. It also possesses the characteristic scoop-like claws of the Rectarcturus genus, used for digging into sandy seabeds.
