Tropical Sawshark [Pristiophorus delicatus]
Description
The Tropical Sawshark is found off the northern coasts of Australia, in the Timor Sea. It usually lives at depths of between 70 and 240 meters. This species is characterized by a slender body, a long, flattened snout lined with sharp teeth, and two dorsal fins. The Tropical Sawshark feeds on small fish and invertebrates.
