Tropical Atys [Atys semistriatus]
Description
Also known as the Half-Striped Atys, this small sea snail is distinguished by the faint stripes on its thin, elongated shell. It is found in warm tropical waters, specifically in the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. The species tends to inhabit seagrass beds and sandy bottoms.
