Description
Triopha maculata, also known as the Spotted Triopha, is a species of sea slug, a nudibranch, a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk. This species is found in the western Atlantic Ocean, from Massachusetts to Florida and in the Gulf of Mexico. It is often found in sheltered rocky and gravel habitats. Its body is yellowish-white with black spots and it has a row of bushy papillae on its back.
