Description
Sukashitrochus transparentis, commonly known as the Transparent Top Shell, is a marine gastropod mollusk that belongs to the family Trochidae. The Transparent Top Shell is predominantly found in the waters off the coast of Australia. The shell of this species is very thin and almost transparent, giving it its name. It feeds on algae and detritus and has a unique conical shell with a flat base and a sharp apex.
