Description
The Threadfin bream, or Bolosoma dussumieri, is a marine species native to the Indo-Pacific region. They are typically found in sandy or muddy bottom habitats, often around reefs. These species are generally small, usually not exceeding 30 cm in length. They are nocturnal, feeding on a diet mainly consisting of small fish and invertebrates. A distinguishing feature is their slender, elongated bodies with a pointed head and large mouth.
