Thicktail Eel [Xenomystax bidentatus]
Description
This species is found in Eastern Central Atlantic: Mauritania to Angola. It inhabits the outer shelf and upper slope, at depths of 200 - 500 meters. It is distinguished by its stout body and broad, rounded tail. This species feeds on other small fish and invertebrates.
