Thick Sole [Microchirus boscanion]
Description
The Thick Sole is a species of flatfish in the family Soleidae. It can be found in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, from Portugal to Angola, including the Mediterranean Sea. It inhabits sandy or muddy bottoms at depths of 20 to 200 meters. It feeds on small invertebrates and can reach a maximum length of 30cm.
