Description
The Thick-mesh sponge, or Hyattella intestinalis, is a marine sponge species found primarily in the waters around Australia. It is recognized by its tube-like structure and the dense, mesh-like network of spicules that form its body. This sponge prefers rocky substrates and can be found at depths ranging from the intertidal zone to 30 meters.
