Thick-Clawed Ghost Shrimp [Arthura crassimanus]

Description
This species is found in the western Pacific Ocean. They are known for their thick, powerful claws which they use for burrowing and foraging. They live in a variety of habitats, from sandy beaches to muddy estuaries. Their diet consists mostly of detritus and small invertebrates.
