The Black Marlin [Istiompax indica]

Description
The Black Marlin is one of the largest bony fish in the world, with females capable of reaching weights of up to 1,653 lbs. They have a dark blue top and a silver bottom. They have a shorter bill and a rounder and lower dorsal fin than other Marlin species. Black Marlins inhabit the Indian and Pacific Oceans. They are notorious for their power and size, making them a challenging target for sport fishing.
