Description
The Taiwan Tanaid, Sinotanais formosanus, is a marine crustacean species found in the waters around Taiwan. They have a slender, elongated shape with a segmented body. They are usually light brown or cream in color and are primarily detritivores, feeding on decaying plant and animal matter. They are often found in sandy or muddy substrates in shallow water depths.
