Description
The Supernova Dragonfish is a barbeled dragonfish species that lives in the deep sea, usually at depths between 1,000 and 2,000 meters. It has a dark, elongated body with large eyes. A distinguishing feature of this species is the presence of photophores along its body, used for communication and attracting prey. It has a barbel that hangs from its chin, tipped with a bioluminescent organ.
